My Lucid Dreams

In the Holy Bible in the book of Matthew chapter two, we find a handful of dreams by a dreamer named Joseph. He was the soon to be husband of Mary, the woman that was to have baby Jesus, the Son of God. Warnings came in dreams also to the wise men in this chapter, and at least five times to Joseph. These dreams that we find in the Bible saved the life of Jesus, and the angels gave directions to these men of God. For the believers in God and His Son Jesus, the Christ, it is interesting to note that when these men saw the angels come to them in the dreams to warn them, it did not lessen the fact they were having an encounter with an angel.

This does not seem to be much deferent than today, when God speaks to us in dreams. It is also not all that uncommon for God to send an angel to us in dreams like He did for Joseph. We, in the North America, can be pretty cold hearted and down right cruel to people that claim to have saw angels in their dreams. Somehow, seeing an angel or angels in a dream is less sufficient than if someone saw an angel, let's say, while awake in the snow with bare feet, melting the snow along the way, or something like that. Some think it is only for the only high ranking elder in the church to see angels. Others believe that God does not even talk to His people any more really. God is still God. He does as He pleases. To see an angel in a dream is open to all that seek God diligently from their heart. There is a very long list of Bible characters that had dreams and also saw angels and demons in them.

Lots of people, Christians included, own a Bible or two and yet know so little about the Bible. Very few read their Bible. Maybe some think that the preachers in church are going to share all that they need to know about the Bible. Well, the Bible is a thick book and I don't think they can share all that is in the Word. I truly believe it is important for every believer in Jesus to know their Bible. If you find it hard to read your Bible, like it was for me at first, you could get the Bible on CD. This is a excellent way to get to know the Word quickly while you are at work, in the car, at home, or in your room with headphones on.
